Guys and Girls,
Well, school holidays are just about finished
and we hope you have had a fun and relaxing
holiday. We are soooo looking forward to seeing
you again at Sold Out for the start of Term
3 this Friday 23 July. It will be huge, so
don’t miss it!!!!!!
We have enclosed a small program card with
all the main details for Term 3. Keep the
card in your wallet or put it on your wall
at home. Pick up some extra ones at the Sold
Out Desk on the first night to give to friends.
Please read on to find out some more important
news about Sold Out for Term 3.
First Night. Sold Out will
commence for term 3 on Friday night 23 July.
7pm to 9.30pm. Don’t miss it, and invite
your friends. A program card is enclosed.
School Years 7 to 12. Anyone
in years 7 to 12 at school is welcome at Sold
Out. The more the better!! We now have a massive
facility, so there is plenty of room for all
your friends!!!!
Plenty of Activities. During
hang time at the start and end of each night
you can enjoy use of the facilities and activities
including – Basketball, Air Hockey,
Skate Ramps, Table Tennis & Volleyball.
Shortly we will have a separate area for other
ballgames including indoor soccer etc. Or
if you want to just hang out with friends
at the café tables or lounge area,
that’s totally fine!!!!
Student Leadership Opportunities.
There are loads of opportunities
for you to get involved in helping at Sold
Out on a Friday night. A list is attached
with some of these areas. Simply complete
the form and return it to the Sold Out Desk
and we will contact you.
Important Dates for Term
Friday 10 September. You get to choose your
elective. The full list of choices are yet
to be confirmed but will likely include Dance,
Drama, Sport options, Singing, Girl Zone,
Art and others.
Saturday 18 September. Big Exo Day at Sydney
Showground – a massive full day event
which brings together many thousands of young
people from around NSW. Go on-line and check
out thebigexoday.com
for more details. Guests include Australian
Idol winner Stan Walker, Evermore, Justice
Crew, Hillsong United and lots more. Please
see registration form enclosed for more details.
Also don’t forget that every Sunday
you and your families are invited to join
with us at one of our Sunday Celebrations
as follows:
10am at Lugarno Public School, Old Forest
Road (River Kids Program for all those up
to year 8 at school). We are hoping that our
10am Celebration will move to Georges River
Life Centre at some stage during Term 3. The
internal renovations are nearing completion.
How cool is that!!!!!
6pm at Georges River Life Centre.
We are really looking forward to seeing you
and hanging out with you this term and hope
you will be able to come to the first night
for Term on Friday 23 July.
